The places where you can "get to know me."
These particular websites represent more sociable aspects of my life. Most of the information in these places is pretty public, but if there's any privacy settings in place, don't be afraid to befriend me.
Virb is most certainly my social network of choice, as it allows me to customize my page to present content the way I prefer.
Last.fm is a good way to find out what kind of music I listen to.
Wakoopa tracks the software I use on a day to day basis, along with how much I use certain categories. It's a good way to see if I've been productive or not in a day.
Facebook can be used if you want to connect with me on a very superficial level.
A collection of things I like.
Tumblr is a blogging service for the lazy man. It's more of a collection of things you like as compared to thought out, well written articles. Think of it more as a scrapbook of your internet adventures.
My Tumblr mostly focuses on music I'm listening to, but I'll post pictures/videos I find as well
These will be my creations of the past couple of months.
Note: Some of these programs, particularly the two Editors, are works in progress. Feel free to mess around with them right now, but please be aware that the bugs you run in to are getting fixed as my schedule permits.
Map Editor is a program to create 3D maps for videos games. The original idea was to use this program to create maps for an iPhone project my friend Andrew and I were working on, but since School started production on the project has come to a halt.
Depth Editor, like it's Map Editor counterpart, is a tool for making levels for a 2D game. Technically speaking, it allows for the creating of depth of field in a two-dimensional image. Neat techniques such as walking behind objects in the background can be done with this program.
This Untitled Project simulates paging with virtual memory. It was a project for my Operating Systems Concepts class. It does nothing particularly useful, but if you're curious as to how paging occurs on your computer, this project might help you understand the concept.
Some of my favorite places on the Internet.
These websites are the blogs/comics/etc that I read on a daily/semi-daily basis. They range from sites on technology, productivity, video games, all the way to bears shaped like a potato.
Dinosaur Comics is a fixed panel comic that has hilarious musings from a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Highly recommended.
Engadget is a technology blog, filled with loads of speculation and devices I will never own. Nonetheless it's enjoyable to see where the technology field is heading with the plethora of devices released on a daily basis.
Nedroid is another comic, featuring a walking bird named Reginald and a bear (shaped like a potato) named Beartato. Practically every update I think that I've read one of the funniest strips yet, so if you're looking for consistent good times, this website should be on your radar.
